There are hundreds of ways to manipulate a web page using jQuery

In the 90's, there were times when security flaws would prompt the experts to warn us to shut off Javascript while browsing. These days, Javascript is fairly integrated into most all modern websites.

jQuery is simply a library that allows Javascript to be much more powerful than it was by itself. We are starting to see jQuery replace a lot of the Flash elements that plagued web sites in the last decade. With jQuery you can make images fade in and out, slide down or maybe spin in a circle. You can make text disappear and reappear. You can total up orders as people fill in form fields. There are literally hundreds of new ways to use jQuery.

At Central 183, I make it a priority to learn as much jQuery as I can to keep your web site slick, useful and dynamic. I believe it to be one of the best Libraries for Javascript out there.
